Advisors' Opinion:- [By Taylor Muckerman and Joel South]
In the case of Occidental Petroleum (NYSE: OXY ) , the company just doesn't seem to be trading at a share price worthy of the sum of its parts. An article in Barron's stated that the company's individual parts could be worth up to $125 per share while the company currently trades around $84. How has the price arrived at this supposedly depressed level? Well, it has traded down 8% since last April versus the S&P 500 (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC ) , which is up over 16% during that same time frame.

Advisors' Opinion:- [By Tim Melvin]
I always find it very interesting to see what long-term investors are selling in a given quarter. Kahn Brothers lightened up on many financials that have shot up and now trade above book value. The firm sold out of Flushing Financial (FFIC), TCF Financial (TCB) and Dime Community Bank (DCOM). Khan apparently shares my views on the large-cap drug stocks, easing up on both Pfizer (PFE) and Bristol Meyers (BMY) over the summer. Khan Brothers also sold the last of the Travelers shares (TRV) it has owned since 2008 at more than twice the purchase price.

The ETFs and funds held up on Monday:
JPMorgan Alerian MLP Index ETN (NYSEArca: AMJ) was down only 0.3% at $46.86, versus a 52-week range of $42.18 to $49.31. Volume was 1.1 million shares versus an average of about 628,000. ALPS Alerian MLP ETF (NYSEArca: AMLP) closed down 0.45 at $17.57, versus a 52-week range of $16.75 to $18.36. This ETF traded more than 3.1 million shares, up from an average of about 2.85 million shares. The closed-end fund of Kayne Anderson MLP Investment Company (NYSE: KYN) even managed to rise by 0.26% to $38.70 against a 52-week range of $33.11 to $40.22. Its volume was also almost 300,000 shares versus an average volume of closer to 218,000 shares. It still seems more than interesting that the investment community did not pound the rest of the sector in sympathy with Boardwalk. This Boardwalk MLP still has a $3.1 billion market cap, even after getting cut almost in half. Usually investors try to tie in peers when one implosion is seen versus others. It seems as though they are trusting that negative natural gas exposure here is not going to spill over into the rest of the sector, and maybe not even spill over into the price of units in its more direct peers.

Advisors' Opinion:- [By Andrew Marder]
Wholesale growth
On the wholesale side of the business, Fossil is really playing to its strengths. Last quarter, wholesale revenue rose 13.5%, with the European division seeing the strongest growth. That business competes most directly with the Movado Group (NYSE: MOV ) , which produces watches for most of the designers that Fossil doesn't cover. To compare, Movado's revenue was up just 6.1% last quarter. Fossil's edge came from the company's strong portfolio of brands -- which is what we're going to call a segue. - [By Jake L'Ecuyer]
Movado Group (NYSE: MOV) was also up, gaining 9.18 percent to $45.89 after the company reported upbeat Q4 earnings and issued a strong FY15 outlook.
